Purpose and Significance of the Event
Held in New York—one of the world’s leading financial hubs—this event was organized with the aim of leveraging FinCity.Tokyo’s strength in public-private partnerships to directly showcase “Tokyo’s attractive investment opportunities and business environment” to global investors and decision-makers.
By directly conveying the “current state” of Japan’s ever-evolving financial ecosystem—including domestic reforms aimed at realizing a “nation based on asset management,” advancements in corporate governance, the transition to a world with interest rates, and progress in cutting-edge AI fields—and by deepening dialogue, we provided a vital platform to support ongoing investment consideration and business expansion in the future.
Main Forum
The Main Forum featured a video message from Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, followed by presentations from numerous top leaders driving the financial regulatory and asset management sectors in both Japan and the United States.
Archived videos of the Main Forum will be available on the FinCity.Tokyo YouTube channel (videos will be uploaded as soon as they are ready).
