~Global asset owners and financial leaders gather in Kabutocho. Free admission with hybrid format~
The Organization of Global Financial City of Tokyo(FinCity.Tokyo) will host its two flagship events on the same day, Thursday, February 5, 2026: the “Tokyo Asset Management Forum 2026” (TAMF) and the “FinCity Global Forum 2026~ Resilience of Tokyo as an International Financial Center ~” (FGF).
In the morning, TAMF will deep dive into the strong potential of “Emerging Managers (EMs)”, essential players for revitalizing Tokyo’s financial ecosystem. Alongside the “EM Showcase” introducing innovative EMs with distinctive asset management approaches, asset owners from Japan and abroad actively pursuing advanced asset management will also take the stage.
In the afternoon, the 7th FGF will explore the theme of “Resilience” in a financial center – the ability of Tokyo’s financial center to maintain stable growth amidst fluctuating domestic and international environments.
Specifically, we will delve into three critical themes essential for Tokyo’s financial center to advance further: 1: What growth areas enable strategic coordination between Tokyo and overseas financial centers?, 2: The significance of implementing digital currencies and cross-border payments, 3: Conditions for advancing infrastructure investment to support resilient and sustainable economic growth.
Through both events, we aim to foster a day of deeper discussion with stakeholders in the asset management field.
Key Speakers
Fumio Kishida (Member of the House of Representatives), Satsuki Katayama (Minister of Finance), Yutaka Ito (Commissioner, Financial Services Agency), Hiroshi Nakaso (Chairman, FinCity.Tokyo), Oliver Bärens (Chairman, Frankfurt Main Finance) Additional speakers include representatives from Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Morgan Stanley Holdings, Nomura Research Institute, NTT Limited Japan, and numerous overseas institutional investors.
